Hat’s off  to the Cowboys!!

Hey, we are celebrating  The National day of the American Cowboy!  Join us at the the ranch for our Buckin’ Ohio Pro bull riding event. We believe in keeping the ”Spirit of the West alive” and we enjoy the opportunity to educated the public about life on a working cattle ranch.

We have some exciting exhibitions planned, featuring the  talent and skills required when working on a cattle ranch, especially bucking bred cattle.

Come and see some of our best cowboys demonstrate their talents.

The skill of the cowboy as well has the keen  sense of the horse are a necessity on a working ranch.

• Cow Sense. It is impressive to watch a cowboy with a horse that has what we call “cow sense”, go gracefully into a herd of cattle and pick out a cow and guide him out of the herd.  The talent and the ability of the horse in this demonstration is amazing to watch.

• Roping Demo. We will also have a roping demonstration. You will see a cowboy rope a cow out of the herd.  This is a needed discipline on our working cattle ranch it takes a good cowboy with roping skills and a great horse.

• Cattle Roundup. Here at the ranch when we round-up our cattle it is on horseback because we find it maintains a  calmer and peaceful atmosphere for the cattle when they need to be moved to a different pasture.

• Bulls Start Buckin At 7pm Sharp. At 7:00p.m the Buckin’ Ohio Pro bull riding will showcase the cowboy, and some of the best bred bucking bull in the industry. It takes athletic ability,strong focus, determination and talent to attempt an 8 second ride on the back of a rank,  bucking bull.  Talk about athletic ability these bucking bred bulls are Unbelievable. The challenge “man verses beast”  makes for some adrenalin rushing entertainment, you won’t want to miss.
